Dress Code
Casually Chic with a Hint of Purple
By “Casually Chic with a Hint of Purple” we mean a blend of comfort and style with a dash of creativity. We invite you to choose attire in which you feel good and comfortable, but with that certain extra elegance. Whether you opt for smart trousers with a stylish shirt, an elegant dress, or a casually chic ensemble, the most important thing is that you feel at ease in it. And if you wish, add a touch of purple, be it an accessory, shoes, or a piece of clothing. The dress code is not meant to be restrictive but rather to give you an idea of the atmosphere we want to create. We look forward to seeing you shine in your unique style!
Arrival
Getting to the wedding venue requires some planning. If you are coming by car, please note that although the location is accessible via the A6 motorway, we encourage guests to carpool as much as possible to reduce traffic and environmental impact. So consider whether you can offer or take advantage of carpooling! Public transport is possible to Bant, but from there awaits an hour’s walk. There are also taxi options, which can be quite costly, however.
Would you like to learn more or organise a carpool? Visit our Travel Information Page for more information.
Dinner
Although the final selection of the dinner menu is not yet confirmed, we wish to assure you that we will be accommodating various dietary requirements. There will be an ample selection of vegetarian and vegan options, and children’s portions will be available for the little ones. We are considering a buffet-style dinner where each guest can choose what they would like to eat. Please check the website regularly as more detailed information about the dinner will follow soon!
Additionally, we guarantee that there will be plenty of drinks available throughout the day. However, please note that alcoholic beverages will only be served after 3 pm.
Meals
For our guests staying at the holiday park or nearby, in addition to dinner on the 13th of August 2024, we will also be providing breakfast and lunch. Would you like to join us for these meals? Please indicate your participation in these meals via the RSVP form so that we can plan accordingly.
What will the weather be like?
- The celebration will take place exclusively outdoors. Large tents will be set up, but the majority of the ceremony will be conducted under the open sky.
- We recommend not wearing high heels, as the entire wedding will take place on a lawn. Do not wear shoes that may not get dirty.
- We are expecting a warm day and evening. However, there is also a bad weather alternative on the same day.
- There will be few shady spots during the ceremony. Therefore, bring a sun hat and apply enough sunscreen.
- We will ensure that there are enough drinks available throughout the day.

Sustainability
How are we making our wedding more sustainable?
We are committed to organising a wedding that is not only unforgettable but also positively impacts the environment. Here are some of the measures we are trying to take to make our wedding sustainable:
- Local suppliers: We are working with local caterers, musicians, and other providers to reduce the CO2 footprint from transportation and support the local economy.
- Digital communication: Where possible, we use digital invitations and updates to reduce paper waste.
- Sustainable decoration: We use reusable, biodegradable, or recycled materials for our decorations and avoid single-use plastic.
- Vegetarian options: Our menu features vegetarian dishes, focusing on seasonal and local produce.
- Recycling and composting: At our venue, clear recycling and composting options are available to minimise waste.
- Group transport: We encourage carpooling and the use of group transport to reduce CO2 emissions.
- Energy efficiency: Where possible, we use energy-efficient lighting and appliances.
How can I contribute to a sustainable wedding?
We appreciate every effort from our guests to help make our wedding more sustainable. Here are some suggestions:
- Consider carpooling or public transport to reach the venue.
- Make use of digital RSVPs and communication.
- If you wish to give a gift, consider contributing to a charity or a practical, environmentally friendly item.
- Help us with recycling and composting at the venue by properly separating waste.
We are excited to share this special day with you and appreciate your support in making our wedding as green as possible!
